Interpretive Scientometrics of the Post-Anthropocentric Taboo

Project Summary

This Complex Network Analysis (CNA) project empirically tests the hypothesis that intellectual authority structures in International Relations (IR) actively marginalize ontological conversations on "post-anthropocentric" concepts (Quantum Social Theory, non-human agency).

Using the citation network of key theoretical nodes (e.g., Alexander Wendt), the study quantitatively demonstrates that the ontological challenge is a set of fragmented theoretical projects drawing their authority from external fields.
